Windows 7 came up with Unknown Device on an Asus U3S notebook. VID_0471

Turns out it’s Azurewave GPS module, driver is on Asus site.

Now I have to come up with some way to put it to good use :)

Gmail – where did my trash / bin go?

Gmail has surprised me today with a new labels drag ‘n drop magic, I’m not too excited about it straight away, maybe later it’ll grow on me…

They have as well changed the default visibility of some core stuff like Drafts and Trash/Bin – go to the Settings > Labels tab to bring these back.

Asus U3 notebook issue – battery won’t charge – solved

Description: Orange battery led would

  • blink fast when powered off and plugged in
  • blink slow when powered on. (Vista would show battery at 0%, not charging.)

Solution: Simple bios update to v308 solved the issue.
